CAS Scholasship Recipient Graduates
From FSU - May 3, 2008
We are so very pleased and proud to announce the graduation of Mr. Sean
Stork from FSU with a Bachelor of Music degree. Sean has worked very hard
and has focused his education on vocal performance and Opera in
particular.During his college career he has sung major roles in
Falstaff, La Boehem, Pearl Fishers, The Mikado, the Magic Flute, Cosi fan
tutte and the Barber of Seville to name just a few! In addition to his
opera roles, only a few of which are mentioned here, he has performed as
featured soloist with the FSU Singers and Men's Chorus, and the FSU
Concert Band.
He spends his "free" time co-directing and arranging music for a local
barbershop chorus "The Capital Chordsmen" and also performing with his
very own quartet the "PBQ". This is but a small list of his
accomplishments. We cannot wait to see what the future will bring for
Sean. As of this writing he is planning to go on to graduate school.
It is truly a privilege to have played a small part in supporting this
fine musician. Sean has expressed his thankfulness to the CAS Scholarship
program for assisting him with his educational goals. We look forward to
having him as a guest soloist in the future.
